The material is VERY good, it's real leather. The craftsmanship of the stitching and the zippers are very high quality! I've previously had backpacks with poor zippers. These feel very sturdy and high quality. This bag will age beautifully overtime if I take care of it well.

I also love the pockets! The many compartments was what sold me! I never splurge on expensive bags and I wanted one with high quality material and multiple uses. This bag has a wonderful front compartment that fits my lunch & my 40oz water bottle. I take the essentials everywhere with me. Highly recommend!

I love the style and rugged durability of this bag. When it came crunched up in a box, it looked terrible. I stuffed it full and let it sit for a few days but that didn't work. I wiped it down with wet wash cloth, then put it in the dryer. That worked great and now it looks and works Great too! Make sure you remove the shoe protectors before going into the dryer.

I just love the heart shape and see how it shine around my neck! I custom our photo in it so that I can see it anytime anywhere!

The color is true to the description. Fabric is good and thick. The leather is soft and strong. The zippers work well and so do the arm straps. Would buy again.

I've had this a little over a year now and use it as my main backpack for every day commuting and for work travel every 2-3 months. It easily fits under the seat in front of you when traveling.
The larger side pocket can fit a slim water bottle or a medium length umbrella. The smaller side pocket fits my portable battery pack well too. Interior pockets fit a lot and the main backpack store could probably hold the width of 4-5 MacBook Pros. My personal 16�� MBP can fit inside the main pocket but it's a bit of a stretch. My 14�� work MBP fits perfectly.
Material is thick and I've not had issues with anything piercing or deeply scratching the leather. The zipper teeth are a little sharp at the beginning but soften with use. Didn't notice any bad smell with mine and the leather ages really well. This backpack WILL get heavy. The last time I weighed it (full) it was about 17-18 lbs.

This bag is surprisingly well-detailed with quality leather accents. An IMPRESSIVE GIFT.
The roomy size may tempt you to overpack the bag. Try to resist. The durability of the duffle is yet to be seen. Very much recommend carrying this bag by the finely crafted double-strap handles. The cloth shoulder strap, while well-constructed, overtaxes the leather end attachment sites, even when double-hooked to both attachment sites available at each end. What's more, due to large quality brass swivel strap hardware tends to make the bag pivot quite a bit while attempting to pick up and shoulder load. Only time will tell if canvas holds up at the leather connection points. This why I recommend avoiding excessively heavy items (like huge text or reference books) and sticking to clothes and shoes.

I don't know what "Crazy Horse" leather is and I'm not sure anybody else does either, but I guess we must allow marketers their little invention,it's soft and supple real leather for sure and that's what counts, stuff I wasn't sure you could buy anymore at ordinary prices.
You might want to use a little leather conditioner occasionally to keep the bag in top shape. Polyurethane, nice try, but the genuine article is here.
